So sorry I have added so much at one time. Life got crazy! I think I am going to go private. If anyone wants to stay in touch with my blog let me know. Blogging is so much fun. I love seeing what everyone is doing, but with the way life is these days, I feel going private might be for the best. Let me know.

I'm Starving

Thanksgiving Day is always spent with Craig's family. We go to Craig's brothers home around 1 p.m. By the time everything is completely ready we eat around 2 p.m. Well Tyler was starving. And he looked at Colette with all seriousness and said, I'm starving! My gum is the only thing that is keeping me alive. So that is why there is a picture of his gum. So we finally served him and there was tons of food. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, jell-o, corn, carrots, stuffing, etc. and he only put three things on his plate. He is so silly. Nicole and Katie enjoy their food. What a great time of the year to be with family and loved ones. Heidi was at work and we missed her lots, especially with our annual shopping spree.

Thanksgiving

Eating Thanksgiving Dinner at the Clayson's. The food was so yummy! Scott outdid himself this year. Everyone showed us there favorite food. Sara's was potatoes. After eating, the girls (a tradition) went shopping at Shop Ko and Wal-mart while the boys stayed home and watched football. It was fun!!

Family Love

After our shopping spree to Shop Ko and Walmart, everyone was glad to see us. Smile!! Brotherly and Sisterly love. Is there anything better?

Air Hockey

Ben and Ty loved playing Air Hockey. Ben at times got a little frustrated. He was at times a little frustrated with his playing.

Guitar Hero

Playing a guitar hero was a must, before we said goodbye. Ty and I had a contest. And I am sure by the victory dance you can tell who won. Yep! It wasn't me.

The day before Thanksgiving, the kids were out of school and so it was time to readjust the Christmas Lights. The kids insisted on helping, even Ben. I was in the house baking Pumpkin Roll and it seemed like the house was being invaded by elephants. The kids were having a blast being loud and running on the roof. That night we went to my mom's house for Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner we usually go to the movies and watch a Christmas show, but since nothing was showing we stayed home and watched the Santa Claus. I love that movie.

Football and house

Our friends from Nevada came to visit on Nov. 25th for Thanksgiving. When the kids get back together, it is an immediate connection, like they see each other everyday. It is so awesome. Friends are great!!! The boys immediately were playing football and the girls house. They had a fun night of laughing, dancing, making up skits, playing basketball, watching movies, and laughing.

Basketball or whatever you call it

What started out as a basketball game, soon led the girls to start pantsing their brothers, to a pile of bodies on the floor laughing so hard and fighting over the ball. Friendship like this will last forever.

Eating popcorn

After that crazy fun filled game of basketball, it was time for our friends to leave, so Sara and W. decided to stuff their faces with the rest of their popcorn. Not much made it into their bellies because they were laughing so hard.

Ben gets to show his moves.

Ben finally gets a turn to show off his moves. Nicole tosses him the ball, so he gets a slam dunk!

Sara's Physical Therapy

Sara at Physical Therapy. The first half hour she is in the pool, kicking, walking, etc. Then she gets 5 min. of free time to play. Which is what she is doing in the last picture. Then she goes in and works with the physical therapists picking up the balloons with her toes and other exercises like this. Today was a hard day for Sara, so if she does good the rest of the week she get an Ostrich Little Pet Shop. We will do anything, even bribe her so she will get better.

Little Hoopsters

Ben loves to go and watch Tyler play basketball. He is following in his brothers footsteps. At first all the teams meet together, warm up, stretch, and practice a few basics and then the game begins. Tyler has the moves. He can dribble between his legs, and is pretty tricky. He is always stealing the ball and makes a few baskets each game. He is fun to watch. What is nice to is that even though he is good, he doesn't show off. He passes the ball even to those who have no clue.

And the winner is....

Sara won a poster contest at her school. It was the one that I showed in an earlier post. She won a book cover, a pencil. and her poster is going to be enlarged and shown in the library all year. Way to go Sara!!!!

Sara and her foot

On Sept. 29th Sara woke up in the morning and couldn't walk on her foot. After many doctor visits, xrays, blood work, etc. Dr. Faux figured out that she has Complex Regional Pain. Strep attacked the nerves in her foot, so if you barely touched her foot she was screaming in pain. We go to Physical Therapy 2 times a week and she has to do exercises 3 times a day to help her nerves realize it really isn't in as much pain as it thinks it is. It has been a very slow process, but we are improving. One of the exercises is she has to pick up these balloons with her toes and put them in a different pile. It would take her 15 plus minutes, but now she is picking up 3 at a time. Yahoo!!! There might be an end to all of this.

On November 14th, we had a busy day. Sara decided to enter a contest at the school library where she drew a picture that went a long with the theme, Be all that you can be, Read! Then later that afternoon they had the results of the Reflections contest. Sara took a picture of a squirrel in the mountains getting into a cup. I will post a copy of it later and Nicole used watercolors to make a sunset. Nicole ended up winning her age group. They both did an excellent job!!
